VOORHEES, NJ – New Jersey American Water is replacing approximately 3,200 feet of aging water main in its New Providence service area. The company is replacing main that has reached the end of its useful life with new main along Livingston Avenue, from Central Avenue to Springfield Avenue. The project also includes replacing seven hydrants and 49 utility-owned service lines along the pipeline route.

This improvement is part of New Jersey American Water’s multimillion dollar program to accelerate the renewal of water infrastructure that is reaching the end of its useful life in more than 100 communities across the state.

New Jersey American Water’s local qualified contractor CRJ Contracting Corporation will begin work next week and is expected to be completed by mid-August.
