NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - National Night Out is traditionally held on the first Tuesday of August, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been rescheduled to Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 6 to 9 p.m.  In keeping with safety protocols, the New Providence Police Department is happy to partner this year with the New Providence Community Activities Department for a drive-in movie, Captain Marvel, in the Our Lady of Peace parking lot located at 111 South Street.

This is a free event limited to the first 85 cars to register through Community Pass.  Each car will be entered to win an XBox One or a Google Chromebook courtesy of PBA Local #132.

Join us in thanking the New Providence Police and Fire Departments as well as EMS for their outstanding response to our community during the pandemic.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
