NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ -- The New Providence boys basketball team built a 14-point lead and maintained its advantage en route to a 67-53 victory over Roselle on Senior Night Thursday.

Sean Dillon scored 17 points and handed out three assists, Nick Bisaccia had 14 points and six assists and Carsten Schumm grabbed 11 rebounds to go with eight points for the Pioneers. Tim Walsh finished with six points, six rebounds and three assists. Nate Scott also passed for three assists.

Alijah Glover led Roselle (12-8) with 22 points and Samuel Noel totaled 15 points and seven rebounds for the Rams.

Before the game, New Providence honored senior players Sean Dillon, Will Cropper, Nate Scott and Owen Kovacs.

New Providence will host Gov. Livingston Saturday at 2 p.m. Saturday as part of the Spread the Word Event fundraiser, which includes daylong activities at NPHS.
