SUMMIT, NJ -- The New Providence girls basketball team, playing their first game in a week, rallied from an eight-point halftime deficit for a 45-38 victory over Summit Tuesday night.

Amy Maurer and Kaitlyn Cumiskey each scored 14 points for New Providence (18-1), who outscored the Hilltoppers, 17-8, in the fourth quarter to finish a rally from an 23-15 deficit at halftime.

Lindsay Kinum finished with 10 points for New Providence. Meghan Lamanna led the Pioneers in rebounds with five.
