JERSEY CITY, NJ -- The New Providence girls basketball team remained undefeated with a 55-34 victory over Marist on Monday to sweep three games in the Lincoln High School Holiday Classic.

Meghan Lamanna scored 18 points for the Pioneers (5-0), who led, 18-9, after the first quarter. Although Lamanna was the only New Providence player to score in double figures, six other players scored.

Kaitlyn Cumiskey led New Providence with nine rebounds, and she and Lindsay Kinum each handed out four assists to go with seven points. Amy Maurer scored eight points and cleared six rebounds.
