NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Baseball was in full swing on Saturday at Oakwood Park. New Providence PAL’s Green League hosted participants from over 30 towns in their annual AllStar games.

Over 400 players ages 7 through 14 played 16 games over three locations in New Providence, Union and Westfield. 

The 10th annual All Star game players are selected to represent their teams and each participant receives a commemorative hat.

Spectators cheered on their favorite players all day Saturday at Oakwood field in New Providence, Union and Westfield. 

The New Providence Police Athletic League (‘PAL’), is a nationally affiliated non-profit organization that formed in New Providence in 1949. NP PAL is committed to providing athletic programs for area youth that promote self-confidence and responsibility, encourage a healthy competitive spirit, and foster lasting relationships with volunteer members of the community.
