Newark Beth Israel Medical Center was the host of the 8th annual Partners in Progress awards dinner, a special event designed to reflect on the efforts of those individuals and institutions that have dedicated themselves wholeheartedly to the City of Newark and its future. The event was held on Thursday, April 19 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. Steve Adubato, PhD., was the special guest and master of ceremonies.

There were 460 people in attendance and the event raised $400,000 for the pediatric cardiac surgery program.
