Link Alumni Gala

Reconnect with former classmates, teachers and staff at Link’s Alumni Gala for the Classes of 1971 through 2011 on Saturday, March 21st. Reminisce with them about your experiences at Project Link or Link Community School and catch up with what they are doing today! This event includes dinner, open bar, and dancing to the music of Najeli Soul Band.  The band is a musical endeavor of Link’s performing arts teacher, Mrs. Sahirah Johnson, P’10 and her husband, Thomas.

You may also want to join in or watch the Alumni Basketball Game at St. Benedict’s Prep, 520 MLK, Jr. Blvd, Newark at 10am on the morning of the gala.  Coaches Ian Scott and Michael Wilson, ‘94 will host the games.  There will also be an Interfaith Worship Service at Grace Church of Newark at 950 Broad St., Newark on Sunday, March 22 at 2:30 pm.

The gala, basketball game and interfaith service are three events in the yearlong celebration of Link’s 50th anniversary educating students in Newark and the surrounding towns.
