Montclair Community Spay Day

Communities Promoting Animal Welfare (CPAW NJ) partners with People for Animals (PFA) and Acme Markets on Valley Road to offer low-cost spay/neuter services the last Tuesday of every month. Preregistration required; please email cpawnj@gmail.com with your contact info; details will be emailed. Both companion and outdoor community cats are welcome. Price for companion animals $90; for feral cats $55. Cats must be dropped off in a carrier at 7 a.m. and picked up by 3 p.m. If caring for community cats in your neighborhood, please contact CPAW NJ to get help with trapping.

CPAW NJ provides local communities with solutions to reduce cat overpopulation and suffering. We envision a world in which cats receive adequate care in their familiar places and the Human animal bond is preserved. We execute our mission through collaboration with Community partners and raising awareness through education and training. Since our founding in April of 2017 we have spayed/neutered over 1,000 cats.
