Join Essex County’s Turtle Back Zoo for an afternoon of learning together as a family. What to Do About Waste, a new program centered on conservation, teaches the FOUR R's- Recycle, Reduce, Reuse, and Rethink! Discuss the effects of litter on the environment, meet some animal ambassadors, play a game to test your knowledge of recycling and composting and come away with ideas on how to reduce waste in your home. It's never too early or too late to get started. Program is 45 minutes.
