NEWARK, NJ - Paterson rapper Fetty Wap made a quick appearance Sunday during the 14th annual Lincoln Park Music Festival.

Hundreds watched the rapper, whose real name is Willie Maxwell, as he performed about three songs during the final day of the three-day music event. The performance was not on the festival's original lineup

Hip-hop icon Slick Rick, whose name is Richard Martin Lloyd Walters, also closed out the festival. The rapper's 1985 song "La Di Da Di" is widely sampled.

Each day of the free festival had different genres of music playing: Friday was designated for gospel and soul, Saturday had house music and Sunday was hip-hop.

Hosts for Sunday's music included Dupre "DoItAll" Kelly, who was part of the Newark-based hip-hop group Lords of the Underground.

The festival was organized by the Lincoln Park Coast Cultural District. There will also be another weekend of events, from Aug. 1 to 3.

Attendees also enjoyed food and clothing vendors during the event. Scroll through the photo gallery to see snapshots of the event.
