A White Christmas is possible

The National Weather Service is currently predicting that there is 60 percent chance of snow for Christmas in the Newark area.

According to early Friday morning projections, Northern New Jersey will see rain later today and into Saturday, Sunday will be clear during the day with snow likely after 9 p.m. 

At this time snow accumulations are predicted to be from 1 to 2 inches. Snow is expected to continue until about 7 a.m. on Christmas Day.
