On April 16th, a new Career Exploration Club for middle school students was launched at the Sussex YMCA in Hardyston.
At the first meeting, students from several Sussex County towns learned about the chiropractic profession. Dr. Gregory Stetzel of Branchville Family Chiropractic, explained how chiropractors relieve pain and promote health in their patients. The students learned what the day to day experience of the profession is like and how to prepare themselves to become chiropractors.
Future meetings will feature guest speakers who are lawyers, police detectives, mechanical engineers, podiatrists, corporate managers, computer programmers and more.
The Career Exploration Club will meet at the Sussex YMCA on Mondays from 4:00-5:00 pm through June 11th. The club accepts students ages 11-13 or 6th through 8th grade. Parents are welcome to sit in on the meetings. Registration is open at https://tinyurl.com/careerexplorationclub,
