SPARTA, NJ – A drain project on Main Street will result in a lane closure as of Thursday and is anticipated to continue for two to four weeks between Glen Road and the Goddard School, weather permitting.
Sussex County Department of Engineering and Planning has announced the project to repair and replace a clogged and damaged drainage system near 98 Main Street.
The work will include clearing vegetation over the existing drainage system, installing soil and erosion controls as well as removing and replacing the existing drainage system, according to the announcement.
A flagger will be on site to control traffic flow during construction hours, as needed.
