“Summer practices were awesome during COVID,” Ivaldi said, “Everyone was in a positive mood and happy to be back on the field after so eagerly waiting for the season to start.”

Ivaldi talks about what his experience has been like playing during the final fall season in soccer during the pandemic.

“For my last season as a Newton Brave while COVID has been going on, it has definitely been something different. We won't be playing the normal competition we usually do, but I cannot complain since we are still having a season when other schools aren't even having one. I'm happy that I am able to go out on the field and give my all for my last season here. And I'm positive we can do big things”, he said.

The Newton High School boys soccer team ended the 2020 season with an overall record of 10-3-1 and a NJAC division record of 9-2-1.
