"Introduction to Getting Relief from Stress & Panic"?
Everyone has stress at times, and stress can even be part of a healthy, challenging life. However, what do you do when you experience high levels of stress, fear over an extended period, anticipatory anxiety, anxiety or panic attacks, or agoraphobia? Do you know the difference between these unique phenomenon and how to handle them?
In this workshop you will learn:
What is stress? Different types of stress
The personality traits that lead us to feel stressed, overwhelmed and unbalanced
Learn simple, effective tools to relieve stress and anxiety
Daily practices to make to make your life more positive and resilient
Join therapist, educator and author Diane Lang as she pilots a new program about creating a life of peacefulness, ease, and freedom. Learn the basics about fear-based mental states and disorders, and specific strategies and ideas about how to create well-being and manage your experiences in this introductory class.
