NEWTON, NJ- Several Newton area students have received accolades from their colleges and universities.

Tess Oldfiled has been named to the Chancellor’s List for the spring 2017 semester at UMass Dartmouth by earning a grade point average of 3.8 or higher.

Jessica Snover graduated from Lycoming College with a Bachelor of Arts degree anthropology from the Williamsport, Pennsylvania school.

Lebanon Valley College announced three Newton area students have been named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2017 semester.

  • Allison Giovanetti is pursuing a bachelor of science in music education and music.
  • Emily Weltner is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in exercise science.
  • Zachary Clements is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in music education.

Megan Calascibetta graduated from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor of Science degree in operations management.

Several Newton area students received advanced degrees from the University of Scranton:

  • Melissa Calascibetta earned a Masters of Business Administration with a major in accounting.
  • Kelsey Erin Morgan earned a Masters of Business Administration with a major in marketing and international business.
  • Robert John Sanders earned a Masters of Business Administration with a major in marketing and international business. 

Rebecca Ogle was named to the Dean’s List at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

Brian Reznik was named to the Dean’s List at James Madison University for the spring 2017 semester with a grade point average of at least 5.5.  Reznik is majoring in marketing.

Jacqueline Soranno was named to the Dean’s List at Coastal Carolina University for the spring 2017 semester at the school in Conway, South Carolina.
