NEWTON, NJ – Several area students have received accolades and degrees from their colleges.
Carly Zdanek was named to the dean’s list at Lasell College in Newton Massachusetts. Zdanek is majoring in Fashion and Retail Merchandising.
Caley Marie Mikesell was awarded a Love of Learning Award, worth $500 from the Phi Kappa Phi honor society at Elon University. Mikesell is a research assistant to the Dean of the School of Medicine of the Universidad San Francisco de Quinto. She will use the funds to complete Cognitive Behavioral Therapy course from the Beck Institute in order to support her work in Pediatric Palliative Care research.
Bansari Mehta graduated magna cum laude with a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was a member of Alpha Lamdba Delta National Honor Society for first year students and Rho Chi National Honor Society of Pharmacy.
Brain Dauer, Megan Calascibetta and Madeline Russell have been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2017 semester at the University of Scranton.
Dauer is a computer science major in the University’s College of Arts and Sciences.
Calascibetta is an operations management manor in the University’s Kania School of Management. Russell is an accounting major in the University’s Kania School of Management.
Samuel Smith graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts.
Hanna Balatero and Marina Regolizio were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2017 semester at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.
Amanda Libero and Troy Gallagher were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2017 semester at the University of Delaware
