NEWTON, NJ – Newton area residents have earned accolades from their colleges and universities.

Emily Maio was named to the dean’s list at the University of Kutztown in Pennsylvania for the spring 2017 semester.

Robert Sanders was named to the dean’s list at Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania for the spring 2017 semester.  Sanders is pursuing a degree in Business Administration – Entrepreneurship.

Hosftra University in Hempstead, New York, announced Hanna Balatero and Marina Regolizio were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2017 semester.

The University of Delaware has announced Amanda Libero and Troy Gallagher have been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2017 semester.

Hunter Jackman has been named to the dean’s list at the University of Hartford in Connecticut for the spring 2017 semester. 

Travis Fernandez was named to the dean’s list at Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania for the spring 2017 semester. 

Amanda Schoen has been named to the dean’s list at Western New England University in Springfield, Massachusetts for the spring 2017 semester.

Nicole Weiss has been named to the dean’s list at the College of Saint Rose  in Albany, New York for the spring 2017 semester.

Julia Pevarnik is spending the summer tackling an Albright Creative Research Experience project.  Pevarnik is a biology major at Albright College in Reading Pennsylvania. Pevarnik's project is titled "Mechanisms of CD4+ T-Cell Evasion by Poxviruses."

Thomas Mountford will be studying computer engineering in the bachelor of science program at Rochester Institute of Technology at Kate Gleason College of Engineering.  Mountford had received an RIT Achievement Scholarship.

Nicole Norato was named to the President’s List for the spring 2017 semester at the Morrisville State College in New York.  Norato had to have maintained a GPA of 4.0 for the honor.  She is studying Equine Science.
