Tied in the sixth inning at 1-1, North Warren hit a fly ball to left field, driving in a run. The next batter hit an infield ball and despite the Braves’ best efforts to get the double play, the batter was safe on first and the second base runner advanced to third.

As the next couple of batters came to the plate, two long balls were hit to center field, scoring another three runs, making the score 1-5, before the Braves got the final out.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, the Braves came back with two outs on the board to get the score up to 4-5. Vallorosi, Luzzi and Fehr all hitting singles, loading the bases for Carson and Van Luvender.

The pitcher intentionally walked Cramer, leaving Blanar to step up to the plate with two outs on the board. He fouled the ball twice before a swing and a miss for the striking out, ending the game.
