NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School Boys Basketball team dominated over High Point, 49-28, when they played them home on Saturday.

Leading the Braves with points in their victory over High Point was Charlie Maker, who contributed 20 points. He made nine 2-pointers and two foul shots.

Jason Heter contributed nine points, with three 2-pointers and one 3-pointer. Luke Young added eight points with four 2-pointers. Both Collin Kelly and Jake Tarabokija put up four points.

Defensively, the Braves had 32 rebounds, seven steals, and three blocks. Offensively, they made 20 2-pointers, one 3-pointer, six fouls shots, and had seven assists.

The Braves are 11-3 overall and 2-0 in their conference division. They will take on Kittatinny on Tuesday, January 31, away, beginning at 7 p.m.
