NEWTON, NJ-- The Newton Boys Basketball team blew past Kittatinny, 72-47, on Tuesday, Jan 5, when they played them home.

Patrick O’Docherty led the Braves in points, putting 21 on the scoreboard. He had two 2-pointers, five 3-pointers, and two foul shots.

Charlie Maker followed close behind O’Docherty, adding 17 points to the Braves’ score. He had eight 2-pointers and one foul shot.

Andrew Cooney and Samir Wheeler each scored eight points for the Braves. Cooney, had four 2-pointers and Wheeler had two 2-pointers, one 3-pointer and one foul shot.

The boys’ record is 6-1 overall and 2-0 for the conference division.
