NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School Boys Soccer team lost to third-seeded Hunterdon Central 4-0  in the semifinal round of the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex tournament, when they played them home on Saturday,  October 22.

The Braves only managed to take six shots on Hunterdon Central’s goalie Dan Mecadon who was able to save all six shots.

Hunterdon Central took nine shots on Newton’s goalkeeper for the game, Sam Miller who was able to get five saves.

The Braves will continue the regular season by hosing High Point on Wednesday, October 26, beginning at 4 p.m.
