NEWTON, NJ—The Newton Boys Soccer Team’s record is now 4-0, with their win against Kittatinny on Thursday, September 17.

Roman Ivaldi, Eddy Lynch, Jake DeLuca, Omar Ba, and Benjamin Docherty each scored one goal during the game. Alejandro Patino scored two goals giving Newton the 7-0 victory.

Ivaldi, Docherty, Patrick Bresney, Johnny Costa, Richie Reczka, Nick Daschko, and Kyler Steele contributed with assists.

Tanner Euston, the starting goalie, made five saves during his time in net for Newton. Sam Miller, entering the game in the second half, made two saves against Kittatinny.

Newton outshot Kittatinny 19-3. “I thought we played well offensively. Everyone knew their role and expectations on the team”, said Coach Brian Martin.

The Boys next game is Wednesday, September 23 away vs. Hackettstown beginning at 4 p.m.
