NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School boys soccer team added two more wins this weekend to their record, beating Lenape Valley and Paramus Catholic both on Newton’s home field.

Newton shut out Paramus Catholic 3-0, when they hosted them on Saturday. Newton scored all three goals in the second half. Toby Woolridge, Remy Ivaldi and Owen Power scored for Newton with assists by Woolridge, Ivaldi, and Steven Bottone.

Newton took on Lenape Valley on Friday, October 18 and won 4-1. Contributing goals was Ivaldi with two, Lucas Mezza and Power with one apiece. Ivaldi also had one assist. Newton outshot Lenape Valley 16-3.

The Newton High School boys soccer team will host Jefferson on Tuesday, October 22, in a night game beginning at 7 p.m. on Newton’s turf field.
