NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School Boys Basketball team destroyed Kittatinny 80-51 when they played them on the Cougar’s court on Tuesday.

The three high scorers of the game for the Braves were Jake Tarabokija with 19 points, Charlie Maker with 16 points and Thomas Salomon with 14 points.

There were multiple other Braves who contributed points to the Braves’ score for the victory over Kittatinny including:

Offensively, the Braves made 20 2-pointers, 10 3-pointers, 10 foul shots and had 14 assists throughout the game. Defensively, they had 24 rebounds six steals and six blocks.

The Newton High School Boys Basketball team is 13-3 overall thus far this season, and 3-0 in the conference division. They will take on Hackettstown on Thursday, February 2, beginning at 7 p.m. away.
