NEWTON, NJ-- Last week the Newton Braves took on the Parsippany Redhawks and won 39-0.

Newton had a total of six touchdowns, three field goal kicks, 497 yards rushed, 51 tackles and assists combined, and two sacks throughout the game against Parsippany.

In the high scoring game with six touchdowns many Braves found the endzone.  Will Larsen and Chase Cramer each had two touchdowns.  Luis Arrazola and Jimmy Snyder each contributed one touchdown for Newton. Devin Mager made three out of the five attempted field goal kicks.

Cramer also led Newton in rushing with a total of 254 yards, followed by Will Larsen with 66, Dante Northe-little with 61, Patrick O’Doherty with 59, and Arrazola with 57 yards.

Scott Price led the team in tackles and assists with eight total. Aaron Agyei, and Alex VanNess each had a sack. 

The team’s record is now 2-1. Their next game is away against Mt. Lakes on Saturday, October 10 at 1 p.m.
