NEWTON, NJ—Newton Football lost to Kittantinny 26-6 on Friday, October 2, when they played on  Kittantinny’s field.

Kittatinny put all of their points on the board in the first three quarters.  They kept the pressure on the Braves forcing a fumble. 

Newton’s Luke Young threw two interceptions.

The only touchdown scored for Newton was made by Chase Cramer in the final quarter. 

Newton rushed for a total of 105 yards with Cramer leading for Newton with 96.  Dante Northe-little ran for six yards and Patrick O’Doherty had four.

Marcus Coward had the only sack for Newton, which resulted in loss of two yards for Kittatinny. The boys’ next game is Saturday, October 10, away against Mountain Lakes at 1 p.m.

Newton’s season record stands at 2-2 with a conference record of 0-1.
