NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School girls basketball team lost to Hanover Park 56-29 on Friday, when they played them away.

Amy Fehr put up 13 points; six 2-pointers and one foul shot. Jessie Brannick contributed six points dropping in two 2-pointers and two from the foul line.

Caroline Fox added four points. Olivia Buckley, Ally Neil and Natalie Fung each contributed two points apiece.

Unfortunately, it was not enough for Newton to come back and secure the win from Hanover Park. They moved their overall record to 6-4 and their NJAC division record to 4-3.
