NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School girls soccer team was crushed 7-1 against North Hunterdon in the semi-final round of the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex tournament.

Newton was outshot 20-7 throughout the game on Saturday, October 19. Madeline Gore and Caroline Fox were the keepers for Newton.

Throughout the game, Gore had eight saves and Fox had five. Jessie Brannick scored the lone goal for the Braves.

The Newton High School girls soccer team is 9-7-2 overall this season. They will play their next regular season game on Tuesday, October 22 away against Hackettstown in a night game at 6:30 p.m.
