NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School girls soccer team shut out High Point 4-0 on Monday, despite the rainy conditions when they played on the Braves' field.

The Braves out shot the Wildcats 20-7. Morgan Medunick, Blaise Vallorosi, Emily Brothman, and Kayla Bensley led the team with a goal each. 

Jessie Brannick had two assists. Olivia Buckley and Olivia Kaiser each had one assist. Keeper for Newton, Brianna Galeos had seven saves.

Newton moves their overall record to 3-4 and their conference-division to 2-2 as they look ahead to playing Hackettstown, away on Wednesday, September 19 beginning at 4 p.m.
