NEWTON, NJ—The Newton Girls Soccer team bumped its record to 2-1 beating Hackettstown, 3-1, on Tuesday, September 13 on the road.
Kayleigh Furth, Ashley VanHoorebeke, and Kass Wojcik each contributed one goal for the Braves.
Newton’s goalkeeper, Karis Steele had three saves against Hackettstown’s 10 shots on the Newton goal. Newton got four shots on Hackettstown’s goalie, Makenzie McDonald.
The Braves will look ahead to take on Hopatcong, home beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 15.
