NEWTON, NJ—Newton High School members of the choir ended their school year in song as they put on a completely student run show of all their favorite Disney songs.

A Night of Disney, was performed, conducted and created entirely by the students, with the supervision of the choir teacher, Matthew Petrozelli. Petrozelli after three years teaching at Newton, will not be returning next year.

The Newton High School Choir as a whole had a few words to say to their fellow members who graduated with as the Class of 2017:

“To our seniors, as your time at Newton High School comes to a close, we hope your time in choir will always be a pleasant memory for you. Good Luck in all you do and no matter what, never stop singing!”

SPARTA, NJ – A Stockholm resident is facing drunk driving charges when she did not go when a traffic light turned green.  On June 16 around 1:15 a.m. Police Officers Thomas Snyder and Jonathan Poon stopped Christina Sacerdote, 52, police report.

Update: Police Break Up Fight Involving 40-50 People at Bridgewater Commons Mall

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — No injuries have been reported in an incident that shut down Bridgewater Commons Mall Thursday evening after a fight involving a crowd of 40-50 people.

Police are still investigating unconfirmed reports of shots being fired, according to the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office.
