NEWTON, NJ - Newton High School studetns will take the stage for the spring musical this weekend. The Newton High School auditorium will host “Thoroughly Modern Millie" beginning on Friday, March 27 at 7:30 p.m.

"Thoroughly Modern Millie" is a story about a young woman named Millie Dillmount, who leaves Kansas to go to the big city in search of a new life, a job, and a wealthy man whom she can marry.

Directed by Brendan Scullin, "Thoroughly Modern Millie" was selected due to the “great opportunities for our talented students. The characters are rich and interesting, and the music numbers are infectious,” said Scullin. “This specific show will be able to showcase the wealth of talent Newton females possess."
