STOCKHOLM, NJ - Newton Lenape Valley ice hockey beat Mount Olive on Saturday at Skylands Ice World, 7-2.

Newton scored four times in the first period, the first two goals coming from Tylear Sevean.  Andrew Dalessandro scored next, followed by Joe Davi.

NLV would not find the net again until the third period when Maverick Reiner,  Dalessandro and Kyle Vandenberg would each add a goal.

Kevin Utter had two assists.  Greg Wanamaker, Ryan Wanamaker and Alex Bott each contributed with an assist as well.

Ian Freericks was in goal for NLV, stopping 28 Mount Olive shots. 

NLV now has a record of 10-2-3.
