NEWTON, NJ—Newton resident, Brandon Ryzner-Meredith, 26, was sentenced for harassment on facebook on June 16, according to Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A Koch.
Ryzner-Meredith, was sentenced to one year of probation, 20 hours of community service, and the payment of mandatory fines and fees, according to Koch.
On January 23, Ryzner-Meredith was arrested for harassment after sending threatening messages to his ex-girlfriend via Facebook.
Ryzner-Meredith pled guilty on May 1, to harassment, a petty disorderly person’s offense. He was also ordered to have no contact with his victim.
He was represented by David Nufrio, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent Rafuse.
