The Newton Medical Center Foundation will honor EMS squads throughout Sussex County and the surrounding area at a special event on Wednesday, February 26, at Perona Farms.

In honor of American Heart Month this February, the event, “Heart and Soul – A Community Celebration,” will recognize the accomplishments of medical first-responders who provide exemplary life-saving care their communities every day. Members of the EMS squads throughout the area have been invited and will be present that evening.

“The path to healing for many of our patients begins with the emergency medical service personnel within our communities,” said Megan Sandow, Chief Development Officer, Newton Medical Center Foundation. “We would like to take the opportunity to thank the many EMS squads and their members for their tireless work and sharing in Newton Medical Center’s vision – empowering our communities to be the healthiest in the nation.”
