NEWTON, NJ - “Come one, come all” to the Newton Pride Foundation’s first ever Christmas Craft Fair and Holiday Fun Day on Saturday, Dec. 19 at Newton High School from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Please join us for a fun, last minute, shopping event, where you can get one-of-a-kind handmade items, avoid the craziness of the mall and enjoy a festive family event,” says the NPF.

This type of event gives people a chance to do some last-minute Christmas shopping, which includes gifts such as unique handmade crafts, baked goods, flowers, etc. which are provided by crafters and vendors.

There will be a craft area for kids to make special gifts for a small fee of $5 per each gift making experience. There will also be gift wrapping elves to help with some of the last minute gifts that still need to be wrapped.

Other activities throughout the event included Pictures with Santa from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., an Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest at 1 p.m., a Tricky Tray, carolers, and more.

Santa is looking for helpers to help Santa create that special moment for the children who want to have their picture taken with him at the event. If you’re interested in volunteering please call Pam at (678) 571-3984 or Wendy at (973) 570-4656, or email pride@newtonnj.org.
