NEWTON, NJ—Three Newton High School student athletes committed to continue their athletic career at colleges next year.

Alex Stone was surrounded by Guidance Counselors Karen Mazur and Theresa Hough, Principal Jeff Waldron and baseball coach Scott Zymet, when he signed his National Letter of Intent to attend and play baseball at Duke, according to Ryan Hashway.

Hashway, the Assistant Principal for Athletics and Student Activities at the high school also attended the signings.  

Jocelyn Mull and Blaise Vallorosi have both committed to play soccer at Sussex County Community College and were surrounded by their families when they signed their letters.
