NEWTON, NJ— A Branchville woman was arrested on drug charges outside of a Newton pub. Lindsey Krakowiak was known to Newton police officers for having an outstanding child support warrant when they saw her on Spring Street, in front of the Spring Street Pub, according to a police report.
On May 5 around 8 p.m. the 29 year-old was searched by Newton police and found to have “13 wax folds of heroin stamped Batman V Superman in red ink,” police said.
Krakowiak also had an hypodermic needle. All of the drugs and paraphernalia were in her small zippered handbag according to police.
Kreakowiak was arrested and charged with Possession of C.D.S. and Possession of an Hypodermic Needle. She was lodged in the Sussex County Jail on the no-bail warrant.
Investigating Officers included Special Officer Raul Couce, Patrolman Thomas Tosti, Detective Thomas Muller, Detective Steve VanNieuwland and Patrolman Daniel Finkle.
