Seafood Festival in the Pines to Benefit the Maximilian Foundation this Saturday from Noon to 6 p.m.

STAFFORD - The Manahawkin Elks Lodge #2340 is presenting the Seafood Festival in the Pines to benefit the Maximilian Foundation this Saturday, June 17 from 12 to 6 p.m.  There will be plenty of crabs, clams, a fish fry, fish tacos, scallops, hot dogs and more.  

From 1 to 3 p.m. Shorty Long and the Horns will provide entertainment.  The Dankstesr will perform from 4 to 6 p.m.  Brian Eastburn will lead at noon and 3 p.m. 

The public is encouraged to bring their beach and lawn chairs.  There will be plenty of family fun activities in the Elks Grove for all ages.  Games such as volleyball, horseshoes and a 50/50 raffle.

The admission is $25.00 if you pay in advance.  The cost is $30.00 on Saturday and each person will receive 12 food tickets. Children 10 and under are free.  Extra food tickets will be sold throughout the day.  Beer, wine and soda are available at an additional cost.

Tickets are now available at the Manahawkin Elks Lodge, Greco Jewelers in Barnegat, Between the Sheets in Ship Bottom, Southern Ocean County Chamber in Ship Bottom, The Gazebo in Beach Haven and Octopus Garden in Mayetta. 

All the money raised will benefit the Maximilian Foundation and will be utilized to fund local prevention programs such as Southern Regional School District's STYLE (Student Team Building Youth Leadership & Experience) program for the 2017-18 school year.
