Marcus Luce, 40, of Sussex, NJ took home the 3rd place medal in the Men’s Division (and 3rd place overall) at the Susan G. Komen North Jersey Race for the Cure on Sunday May 5th at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ. Rahe finished the 5K USATF Timed race in 22 minutes and 45 seconds. In spite of the heavy rain, an estimated 1,000 people braved the weather to come to Liberty State Park and participate in the annual event, which raises money for the fight against breast cancer (fundraising is ongoing through May 31st; contributions can be made at www.komennorthjersey.org/race).
