NEWTON, NJ—The Town of Newton and residents from all around the county braved the cold on Spring Street  for the Greater Newton Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Holiday Parade.

“This is a magical and fun event for all in attendance. Each year, it grows larger and more festive,” an event organizer said.

The theme this year for the parade was “Songs of Christmas.” Girl scout troops were dressed as presents and some had blown up guitars. Hampton Troop 96598’s float won first place with their air guitar musical float.
