NEWTON, NJ — Two Newton residents and one resident of Paterson pleaded guilty in court according to Sussex County Prosecutor Francis Koch.

Briana Sickel, 31, of Newton pleaded guilty in front of Honorable William J McGovern III, when she admitted to burglarizing a home in Byram on February 9. Her case was investigated by Detective Tierney of the Andover Police Department.

Matthew T Collins, 25, of Newton, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, when he admitted to being in possession of cocaine and heroin on June 6 in Newton.

The case was investigated by PTL. John Flanagan of the Newton Police Department. Collins went in front of Hon. N Peter Conforti.

Alexander Wehmeyer, 27, of Paterson, pleaded guilty to conspiracy and shoplifting, when he admitted to taking merchandise from the Hampton Walmart in December of 2016 without paying.

His case was investigated by Trooper J Smith of the New Jersey State Police. Wehmeyer went in front of Hon. McGovern.
