NEWTON, NJ—Residents are able to enjoy the town’s parks and playground and visit the municipal building.  As of July 2 Memory Park and Pine Street Park are open according to a proclamation issued on Thursday morning.

Addendum Number 4 to the Local Emergency Proclamation 2020-1 also announced the municipal building will operate on the modified hours of 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning on Monday, July 6.

All visitors to Town Hall will be required to wear masks and to follow the social distancing protocols that have been put in place.

According to the proclamation, the public using the parks and playground equipment must adherence to proper social distancing protocols.
