Sparta Councilman Murphy's DWI Charges Still Not Settled After One Year

SPARTA, NJ – More than a year after being charged with driving while intoxicated, Sparta Councilman Jerry Murphy has still not had his day in court.

Sparta Township Council to Look Into Newton's Morris Lake Logging Plan

SPARTA, NJ  - Following action taken at the Newton Town Council meeting, Sparta residents brought their concerns about a new logging plan to the Sparta Township Council on Tuesday night.  The plan is to harvest 23.5 acres of trees at Morris Lake off  Glen Road.
