Get your Passport to Health and start the journey to a healthier you! Women’s Wellness Expo will offer FREE screenings including clinical breast exams, mammograms*, flu shots, blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, vision, dental, PSA, HIV and more!  Activities for the whole family (men and families encouraged to attend!) include a personal Passport to Health booklet for tracking your progress at the event (prizes for “stamps!”), Breast Health/Breast Cancer speaker, health/wellness exhibits, fitness/nutrition demonstrations, survivor support, medical information, giveaways, and kids’ zone.

*Mammograms start at 10:00am and are available to all women (free for uninsured).

The mission of Susan G. Komen North Jersey is to save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer. Through the annual Race for the Cure®, Pink Tie Party and other events and activities, Komen North Jersey raises funds to support local community non-profit organizations that provide screening and diagnostic services, breast health/breast cancer education, treatment support, patient navigation and survivorship programs for underserved women and men in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren counties. UPDATE: Police Said Route 15 is Reopened Sparta Police: Route 15 Detour Due to Downed Utility Pole

SPARTA, NJ – Route 15 traffic is being detoured onto Layton Lane, according to Sparta Police Department.  Both northbound and southbound lanes are affected because of a utility pole down across the road.  It was pulled down by a truck near to the Bagel Station just beyond the railroad tracks.
