Registration is open for this fun-filled virtual challenge.

One full week to complete a 5K, 10K or Marathon.  Easy, post your distance and raise at least $50 in sponsor money in support of Homeless and at-risk veterans. 

Do a Facebook live stream and you get bragging rights to share with your family and friends and challenge them to get on board and see who the winners are.  Medals to the top fundraisers.

Project Help is a local nonprofit that takes on the problems of Military Veterans and works to make their lives better.  The funds from this event will go to the Hardship Fund which is a grant program for qualified assistance requests.

Suicidal Man Shoots at Newton Police, Causes Schools to Lock Down

NEWTON, NJ—The Newton School District went into lockdown on Monday after the Newton Police received a call from a distraught, suicidal, elderly man. Despite shots fired at police no one was seriously injured.

According to police, the Newton patrols received a call from a man who in the parking garage under the Newton Town Centre complex and said he was going to commit suicide.
