Newton Man Facing Charges for Trying to Break into a Home

NEWTON, NJ—A Newton man is facing charges for trying to break into a home on Madison Street.  On October 5 around 6:56 a.m. Newton Police Officers responded to the home to find Gerald Mitchell Jr., 41 swinging a broomstick, police said.
