Newton Police: Drunk Man Fights His Way to Arrest

NEWTON, NJ – An Andover Township man is facing charges after fighting with people near Spring Liquors.  On June 8 around 5:09 p.m. Newton police found Vincent Scardino, 49 to be drunk and fighting, police said.

SPARTA, NJ – The girls of Sparta Junior Girl Scout Troop 96565 unveiled the Little Free Library they created at the Helen Morgan School.  The project, part of Little Free was created by the girls with approximately $500 earned from selling Girl Scout Cookies, according to leader Sandra Andrade.
